- Implemented a travel award program for graduate students
- Created a housing listserv for graduate students
- Advocated for increased graduate assistant benefits and tuition remission to 100 percent
- Development of a grievance policy for graduate students (in progress)
- Collaboration with the Arizona Students’ Association on state and national issues
- Organized question-and-answer sessions with the NAU president and the vice president for research
- Increased graduate student representation on the following NAU-wide committees and groups: University Strategic Planning Committee, University Graduate Committee, University Library Committee, Associated Students of Northern Arizona University, and Arizona Students Association
- Organized social gatherings for graduate students and families
